Alan Stewart
Chief Executive Officer

Alan is a seasoned executive with a diverse background spanning energy, facilities and asset maintenance, business management, and financial services. With extensive experience in global recruitment, he began his career in the financial sector, leading international talent acquisition functions for investment banks in London.

Over the past decade, Alan has transitioned into business leadership roles, bringing strategic oversight and operational excellence to the organizations he serves. Since joining MB Century in early 2019, he has played a pivotal role in overseeing key business functions, including people, risk management, quality assurance, information technology, finance, and administration.

Recognised for his leadership and strategic vision, Alan was appointed Acting Chief Executive Officer in July 2024 before being formally named CEO in December 2024. Under his leadership, MB Century continues to drive innovation, operational excellence and client partnership in the industry.

Originally from New Zealand, Alan returned in 2016 with his wife and two children, settling in Taupō, where he now calls home

Ronita Nath
Finance Manager

Ronita has over 10 years of industry experience in Accounting.  She has five years of Accounting experience from working in a Chartered Accountant firm and three years from working in an Inbound Travel Management company.  In 2019 Ronita transitioned from practice to industry to build and gain in-depth knowledge to focus on the bottom line and reduce inefficiencies.

Ronita moved to Taupo from Fiji in 2011, accompanied by her husband and fur baby Neo. She enjoys biking, hiking, and listening to music in her own private backyard bar called ‘Bula Bar’.

Ben Peirce
Senior Manager - Projects & Workshop Services

Ben brings a strong track record in engineering and project delivery, most recently at Culham Engineering, where he led the construction of Contact Energy’s Tauhara Separation Plant, managing teams of 50+ as their Renewable Energy Project Manager.

Before that, he was an Asset Integrity Engineer at Mercury and has over a decade of hands-on experience in NDT and inspection. He also previously led Stork’s Central North Island team, which he built from the ground up.

With his blend of technical expertise, leadership, and drive, Ben is well-placed to help us strengthen and grow our service delivery across Aotearoa New Zealand.

Ben enjoys getting stuck into projects, however outside of work, you’ll usually find him with his family, often poolside cheering on his two kids who swim competitively. Ben likes staying active by walking his dog, travelling when he can, and has a real passion for cars.

Greg Larsen
Senior Manager - Drilling & Reservoir Services

Greg has over 30 years of global operational management experience across a range of engineering sectors including specialising in process engineering, chemical applications, civil projects, and geothermal development.  He has provided large scale engineering support, undertaken technology development, and led successful business units within the Asia Pacific region. 

Greg returned from Singapore in 2012 and joined MB Century leading the acquisition and subsequent drilling operations for Rig32.  In 2018 Greg joined the Senior Management Team and is responsible for Rig 32, Reservoir Engineering and Chemistry teams. Outside of work, Greg enjoys local mountain biking and fishing.

Iwan Chandra
Regional Director - South East Asia

Iwan brings with him over 40 years of global experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Geothermal, and the Energy Transition, having held senior roles with Schlumberger International, GE Oil & Gas, and Baker Hughes Indonesia. His wealth of knowledge and strong relationships and connections will be a tremendous asset as to promote our well-respected capabilities and establish a strong foothold into the region. 

Iwan is no stranger to us. Over the past year, he has been working alongside the team as a consultant—helping establish our PT company in Indonesia, growing our clients by introducing us to key industry leaders, and playing an instrumental role in building momentum to support the significant renewable energy growth aspirations across the region.

Cole Hunter
Senior Manager - HSE, Quality & Continuous Improvement

Cole joins us bringing a wealth of expertise in Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE). Cole most recently worked with SiteCare, where he led the national Property Services division, driving operational excellence and enhancing customer outcomes.

Before that, Cole spent five years as QHSE Manager at Optima Investments Group, supporting five diverse businesses. His achievements include implementing group-wide management systems, leading successful ISO 9001 and 45001 certifications, and introducing software tools that elevated QHSE performance tracking.

Cole also brings deep experience in safety leadership across complex, high-risk projects – most notably the Auckland City Rail Link and ExxonMobil’s URM programme.

Outside of work, Cole enjoys camping and fishing with his partner, especially in the Coromandel. He’s also a keen tabletop gamer, and spends much of his downtime cooking for his partner and friends, reading, or experimenting with 3D printing.
