Our current payroll officer is leaving us after 18 years with MB Century leaving big shoes to fill.  If you want a to own the full payroll process in a position where your work will be interesting and diverse this is the role for you. 

 

About You:

As an experienced and knowledgeable payroll professional you’ll enjoy complex calculations and troubleshooting.  You’ll also offer:

  • Solid understanding of payroll legislation and how it’s applied to a variety of employment conditions

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Numerical dexterity and a skilled excel user

  • Adept with new technology (Technology One experience beneficial)

  • Proven ability to support and influence others in all things payroll

  • Ideally financial background

  • Experience with international payrolls will be an advantage.

 

The Role:

We’re open to considering full or part time hours, Monday to Friday. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Hands on end to end payroll management

  • Time costing of Contractors

  • Oversight and responsibility for business processes that impact payroll

  • Processing fortnightly payroll with currently 150 staff

  • Managing security and internal controls around payroll

  • Reconciliation and reporting and of accounts

  • Manage ACC rehabilitation processes

  • Manage company’s health insurance scheme
